The role you'll contribute:

Responsible for the identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of emergency care for acutely ill in collaboration with the medical team. This position practices in accordance with appropriate philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards. This role functions within the guidelines of the protocols for the transport program reviewed and agreed upon by the Medical Director.

Practices autonomously in accordance with professional nursing standards and departmental protocols, assessing, interpreting, and reporting diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition.

Administers and calculates medications, monitoring patient responses according to protocols.

Conducts comprehensive patient assessments and documents findings accurately.

Provides emergency care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Transports patients safely, remaining alert to hazards and using radio communications effectively.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Associate's of Nursing

Registered Nurse (RN)

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
