AdventHealth Surgery Center Blue Springs is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (CST). This full-time position requires high efficiency across a variety of surgical cases in our fast-paced, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center (ASC). Key Responsibilities
- Prep the OR with specialized multi-specialty surgical trays.
- Calibrate, test, and prepare diverse surgical equipment and power tools.
- First line surgical support: function as a primary scrub person, passing instruments and supplies with precision and anticipating surgeon needs.
- Track, count, and document all hardware, sponges, and needles.
- Assist with rapid room turnover to maintain ASC efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Certification: Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential via NBSTSA is required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of active OR experience required.
- Specialty: Proven multi-specialty proficiency in an ASC or OR environment.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- BLS: Current Basic Life Support certification.
