Work Schedule: 2nd Shift 5pm - 11pm. Weekend call 8-hour shifts.
- Prepares, inspects, and assembles surgical instruments and trays, ensuring proper sterilization, packaging, and documentation for safe clinical use.
- Operates and monitors sterilization equipment, verifying parameters, indicators, and records before releasing instruments.
- Performs decontamination duties including cleaning, disassembling, inspecting, and segregating reusable instruments per manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintains accurate tracking, logs, and compliance documentation, including responding to sterilization failures and recall processes.
- Collaborates with team members and hospital departments, supports training, and rotates across all sterile processing areas.
- Ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements. [Required]
- Ability to understand the needs of the customer and respond to them in a pro-active, courteous, professional, and efficient manner. [Required]

- Knowledge of the use, operation, maintenance, assembly, disassembly and cleaning requirements of the full range of instruments and equipment. [Required]
Education:
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
- Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]
Field of Study:

Work Experience:

- Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) [Required] OR

Pay Range:
