Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant Pelvic

• Location: 400 Celebration Pl C200, Celebration, FL 34747
• Schedule: Either 4x10 hour shifts or 5x8 hour shifts. Clinic is open Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm and Friday 7am-6pm
• Implements individualized treatment plans based on physical therapy evaluations and through consideration of practice standards, recommended techniques, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
• Modifies treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments in consultation with physical therapist. Collects patient data and communicates with the physical therapists regarding discharge recommendations when maximum benefit has been achieved.
• Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures, and other extensions of clinical expertise to the community.
• Oversees the care provided by rehabilitation aides according to established regulations and practice standards, and may involve coordinating activities of rehabilitation aides, students, and other support personnel.
• Identifies the need for patient and caregiver education, utilizing opportunities for teaching and documenting understanding as appropriate. Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports departmental quality standards and initiatives.

• Pelvic experience (Preferred)

Field of Study:

• In Physical Therapy Required

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND
• Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) [Required] OR
• Physical Therapy Assistant - TEMP (PTA-TEMP) [Required]
• Pelvic certifications (Preferred)

Pay: $25.00 - $40.09 per hour
