Schedule: Full-time

- Attends department meetings and engages in positive dialogue to support department objectives.
- Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient's medical situation.
- Other duties as assigned. Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before administering exams.
- Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy. Reviews images and completes ultrasound worksheets promptly, re-scanning patients as requested by Radiologists.
- Communicates and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, including notifying physicians of abnormal findings.
Education:
- Associate Preferred
Work Experience:
- 2 years experience in vascular sonography Preferred
Additional Information:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologies RT (BS) Preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Required OR
- Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography (R.T.(VS)(ARRT)) Required OR
- Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) Required
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required
