The role you'll contribute:
The Nurse Manager supervises, coordinates, and performs patient care delivery on the assigned nursing units and is accountable for meeting standards. These include, but are not limited to customer service, financial management, regulatory compliance, human resource processes, staff competency, performance improvement, policy/procedure development and compliance, and regular communication with department staff. The Manager provides leadership and oversight with all unit functions and patient care issues on a day-to-day basis. Duties and responsibility may occur outside of typical office hours.

Evaluating patient/employee interaction and coaches staff on opportunities to enhance patient.
Assists Director with departmental financial review.
Compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards to assure compliance.
Assure daily staffing needs are achieved.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
Associate in nursing or related field
3 years experience in acute patient care Required 2 years of experience in a leadership roleRN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the State of Florida Required
BLS - Basic Life Support Required
ACLS Required
APRN-BC - Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Board Certified Required
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Required Certification in area of specialty within two years of accepting position Required
NIHSS
