Job Description Summary:
As a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), you’ll provide compassionate, evidence-based care to women throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum recovery, and routine gynecologic needs. Working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, you’ll support whole-person health by promoting wellness, patient education, and exceptional clinical outcomes. You’ll build meaningful relationships with patients and families while delivering high-quality care in a faith-based environment dedicated to extending the healing ministry of Christ.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Advanced knowledge of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic care.
- Knowledge of evidence-based midwifery practices, clinical protocols, and patient safety standards.
- Understanding of preventative healthcare, family planning, breastfeeding support, and women’s wellness services.
- Understanding of quality improvement principles and population health initiatives.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Ability to manage low-risk pregnancies and provide labor, delivery, and postpartum care within scope of practice.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills with diverse patient populations.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in documentation, care coordination, and healthcare technology.

Certifications and Licensure Required:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
- Current Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Current BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
