Job Description:

Functions as a liaison for management staff, administration, physicians, managed care companies, community organizations, and other customers. Coordinates efforts for treatment and promotes quality improvement. Manages educational efforts and compiles data to track outcomes. Makes recommendations for process improvement. Provides referrals and supports follow-up care for patients who are uninsured or underinsured. Facilitates communication between patients and healthcare providers. Ensures continuity of care. Assists patients in navigating the healthcare system. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills [Required]
• Working knowledge of insurance coverage and procedures [Required]
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally [Preferred]
• Working knowledge of insurance coverage and procedure [Preferred]

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• N/A

Work Experience:

• 1 year in an oncology setting [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

$35.04 - $65.17
