Schedule: Thursday-Saturday 7am-7pm
Sign on Bonus: Up to $10k
Location: 5821 S Williamson Blvd, Suite 101, Port Orange, FL
- Attends department meetings and engages in positive dialogue to support department objectives.
- Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient's medical situation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before administering exams.
- Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy.
- Abdomen, Abdominal Doppler, OB/Gyn, Small Parts, Vascular, and Interventional Sonographic procedures [Required]
- Ability to learn and master new tasks related to the computer and AGFA Pacs system [Required]
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds [Required]
- Ability to function independently with little or no supervision [Required]
- Ability to read and write legibly in English and perform basic mathematics skills [Required]
- Ability to communicate effectively [Required]
- Ability to perform venous ultrasound Doppler [Required]
- Ability for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative [Required]
- Knowledge of PACS and associated equipment [Preferred]
- Good organizational skills [Preferred]
- Breast Sonography knowledge [Preferred]
- Pediatric and Neuro Sonography knowledge [Preferred]
- Basic EKG knowledge [Required]
- Computer proficiency in Word, Outlook [Required]
Education:
- Associate [Preferred]
Field of Study:
- N/A
Work Experience:
- 2 years experience in vascular sonography [Preferred]
Additional Information:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologies RT (BS) Preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required] OR
- Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography (R.T.(VS)(ARRT)) [Required] OR
- Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
