- Leads and mentors staff to ensure optimal performance and competency in care delivery.
- Administers commonly used drugs and solutions in Cardiology and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures.
- Conducts holistic, individualized assessments of each patient considering age, physiological, and psychological status.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Participates in the transfer of patient information to ensure continued quality care.

- Communication, delegation, coordination, evaluation, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate Microsoft Windows based programs.
- Participation in S.T.A.B.L.E. program for nurses working with newborns preferred; may obtain post-hire within six months.
- Participation in C.O.R.E. program for nurses providing primary NICU care; may obtain post-hire when the program is offered.
