Schedule: Full Time, Weekends rotation required, (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

The role you'll contribute
Responsible for decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of supplies and instrumentation utilized throughout the facility following established national standards and infection control standards. This position ensures that all medical instruments and supplies are properly sterilized and ready for use. This role adheres to strict protocols to maintain a sterile environment. In addition, this position collaborates with healthcare staff to ensure timely availability of sterilized equipment. This role monitors and maintains sterilization equipment to ensure optimal performance.
The value you'll bring to the team:
- Receives soiled and contaminated instruments or equipment from surgery, anesthesia, and nursing units.
- Prepares, cleans, and disinfects instruments and equipment appropriately.
- Inspects all instruments and equipment for damages, malfunction, or unacceptable condition.
- Prepares instruments and equipment for sterilization by verifying correct items and quantities.
- Assures proper sterilization procedures are performed and the effectiveness of the sterilizing process.
Qualifications
The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed
- High School Graduate or Equivalent [Required]
- Preferred previous CSR Experience,Preferred Certified CSR Tech
