Job Summary
As a CT Technologist at AdventHealth Murray, you will perform imaging procedures using established protocols, properly identify patients, and educate them about the exam. You will also screen patients for contrast allergies, complete exams in a timely manner, and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Performs all types of imaging procedures safely and properly, including operating scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment.
- Adapts protocols as necessary for patients of all ages, minimizing radiation exposure.
- Practices infection control standards and utilizes approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
- Maintains a clean and organized room, performs QA on CT scanners, and transports pharmaceutical waste.
