Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT X-Ray Technician to join our dynamic medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in diagnostic radiology and be proficient in operating advanced imaging equipment. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) scans with precision and care, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The candidate must demonstrate excellent technical skills, thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures, positioning them appropriately, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
- Operate CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluation and timely reporting of results.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment settings in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions or discomfort during imaging procedures and respond promptly to any emergencies or concerns.
- Ensure all imaging equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and cleaned according to aseptic techniques and safety standards.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology, including PET scans, mammography, DEXA scans, sonography, nuclear medicine, and emergency room procedures.
Skills
- Education:
- High School Grad or equivalent [Required]
- Associate [Preferred]
Work Experience:
- 3 years radiology experience [Preferred]
