Job Description:

• Utilizes and troubleshoots video system equipment as needed. Assists in preparing patients for procedures under the direction of the RN, providing care for all age groups from Neonate to Geriatric.
• Communicates pertinent patient information to the RN and completes assignments as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• Instills medications via endoscope under the direct supervision of the Physician. Follows CDC isolation guidelines, uses PPE appropriately, performs hand washing according to policy, and enforces safety regulations.
• Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports departmental standards and initiatives. Promotes a safe environment, takes appropriate action in emergency situations, and identifies and reports environmental concerns.
• Performs EKG procedures and provides patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture under the supervision of a professional nurse. Performs other duties as assigned.

High School Grad or Equiv (Required)Advanced Associates GI Tech (SGNA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range:

$18.14 - $29.02
