Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Orlando, FL, for an MRI Technologist at AdventHealth Central Florida. The MRI Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging using advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, operating and maintaining imaging equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards, documenting patient exams, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Compliance with protocols and ensuring patient comfort and safety are key priorities for this role.
Qualifications
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or an equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and Medical Imaging
- Strong knowledge and experience in Radiology and Medicine
- Ability to operate and maintain MRI equipment effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-focused approach
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate's degree in a related field or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Prior experience in MRI imaging is preferred
