Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Entry Level Position
General Responsibilities: Responsible for generating a quality new business pipeline for the outside sales team through prospecting and outbound efforts. This entry level job has a direct path to an outside sales rep position.
Duties:
- Develop new business opportunities through heavy cold call campaigns and email initiatives.
- Set initial meetings / presentations for the outside sales team.
- Pre-Tradeshow research, planning.
- Post-Tradeshow follow up on behalf of the sales team.
- Territory planning for white space accounts.
- Manage relationships with existing accounts and grow sales team territory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Possess very strong written and oral English communication skills.
- Possess very strong relationship building skills.
- Possess very strong organization skills (attention to detail).
- Be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce and email applications.
- Capable of meeting sales activity goals and quotas.
- Have a desire to learn and work hard in an emerging Gov Tech market.
- High energy, enthusiastic, and ambitious candidates preferred.
