Job Description Geneva Consultant Locations: NY, NJ, FL (Remote/Hybrid) About the Role SS&C Advent delivers financial technology solutions and services to financial services clients in the asset management, wealth management, and alternative investment space around the globe. The Consultant will support SS&C Advent's Geneva enterprise portfolio accounting application. Blending financial industry knowledge with technology skills while implementing and upgrading Geneva. This role will gain exposure to multiple client environments. Upgrades provide a unique opportunity to learn the latest and greatest features bundled with Geneva releases. How You Will Make an Impact Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements, design and configure products, automate optimized workflow Manage time to deliver critical components and maximize client satisfaction Prepare system and data transition plans, and complete migration involving historical data take-on. Execute implementation tasks, collaborate and communicate project status with internal and external stakeholders. Lead hands-on training sessions, troubleshoot issues, technical support during go-live events. Develop custom reports, conversion tools, and system integration mappings Deliver high-quality consulting services as part of implementation projects, build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to drive client satisfaction and continuous improvement. Need to work independently and in a team, with flexibility to travel and adapt to changing work hours. Required Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is required. 9 years of client experience in the financial services industry is required. Working knowledge of relational databases, Windows server environments and experience learning new technical tools. SQL skills - comfortable composing complex queries to pull data and running statements to modify DB tables when necessary Familiarity with the general ledger is required. Working knowledge of Advent’s Geneva or expertise with similar applications is required. Strong troubleshooting and reasoning skills. Ability to effectively and efficiently manage time to maximize productivity. Ability to learn quickly and independently by gathering information from a variety of sources to acquire the knowledge needed to complete assigned tasks. Strong communication skills. The ability to present information to both technical and nontechnical individuals. Ability to be self-directed and work independently. Ability to travel up to 50% of time. What Sets You Apart (preferred qualifications) Linux experience and basic maintenance of Geneva Understanding and editing Geneva RSL is a big plus 7 years of programming experience (C#, XML DOM, OOP, SQL, SSRS).
