What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher/ Child Care Worker position at Advent Preschool and Childcare?
Advent Preschool is hiring an Assistant Classroom Teacher Tuesday through Thursday 8:45am-3pm. Duties include supervising children through learning and play activities, assisting lead teacher with transitions, snack and center set up and clean up, supporting parent communication, and managing classroom routines when necessary.
We are also looking for a part-time childcare worker from 2:45pm to 6pm Monday through Friday. Must be able to supervise children ages 3 to 6 through snack, free play and dismissal. The roles can be combined for for canidates wanting three longer days, or separated for greater flexibility.
Advent Preschool follows the WCASD calendar, offers PTO for all positions, and paid holidays throughout the school year. Our small school has classes with less than 15 students and keeps ratios under 1:5. Students are ages 3-5 and all toilet independent.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
