Responsibilities
- Engage in outside sales activities to identify and develop new business opportunities within targeted markets
- Conduct comprehensive needs analysis to recommend appropriate commercial insurance products that meet client requirements
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements
- Manage sales administration tasks, including preparing proposals, quotes, and policy documentation efficiently and accurately
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, address questions, and identify additional coverage needs
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote insurance products through various channels, including telemarketing campaigns and community outreach
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients throughout the policy lifecycle and resolving any issues promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities in both verbal and written formats
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations effectively
- Demonstrated analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions
- Familiarity with sales administration tools and CRM systems to track leads and manage client information efficiently
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and benefits administration processes is a plus
- Ability to handle telemarketing initiatives ethically while maintaining compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA when applicable
- Exceptional customer service orientation with a proactive approach to client engagement
