Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. This full-time position is primarily based in an outpatient orthopedic clinic, with occasional inpatient coverage. The Physical Therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
- Develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and recovery strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Provide outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation services while assisting with inpatient therapy coverage as required.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, infection prevention, and professional practice standards.
Schedule
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Shift: Monday Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Weekend, Holiday & Coverage Requirements
- One weekend every 6 7 weeks for inpatient coverage.
- Approximately one holiday per year for inpatient coverage.
- No on-call requirement.
- Patient care mix: 90 95% outpatient orthopedic services and 5 10% inpatient services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current Physical Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in the State of Kansas.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Salary : $40 - $46
