Job Title: Mainframe Consultant (Caterpillar Experience Preferred)
Location: Peoria, IL (Relocation Required)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
- 7 years of experience in IBM Mainframe development and support.
- Previous experience working on Caterpillar projects or environments is highly preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and IMS.
- Experience with batch processing, production support, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of Endevor, Changeman, File-AID, Abend-AID, and other mainframe utilities.
- Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and application support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Peoria, IL.
- Experience working with manufacturing or heavy equipment industry clients.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience integrating mainframe applications with distributed systems.
Salary : $40 - $50
