What are the responsibilities and job description for the Camp Host at South Platte position at Advenco Forests?
Summary of Position
Ensure the Campgrounds are effectively maintained to protect the natural environment and ensure a clean a safe environment for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Collect camping and vehicle fees for visitors as well as money from fee tubes (if applicable)
- Clean bathrooms, camp sites, fire rings and any other assigned areas in a manner consistent with company expectations
- Consistently dispose of trash and maintain receptacles.
- Report any needs related to minor building or equipment repair to supervisor.
- Replace light bulbs and supplies in buildings including in bathrooms.
- Maintain environment in a neat manner by cutting grass, trimming shrubs and trees and watering plants. Perform other campground duties related to maintaining a neat and clean appearance.
Requirements
- Possess upbeat and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be organized and able to adhere to schedules.
- Must be able to lift up to 25-30 pounds occasionally.
- Understand basic math.
Education and Experience
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum one-two (1-2) years of customer service experience
