Currently Advatech has a position open for a Project Engineer with 8 years of experience with pneumatic valves.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years Project Engineering experience.
- Experience Design and Modeling of aircraft mechanical and Pneumatic valves and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Recommending design changes when a component doesn't meet criteria.
- Generating project schedules and cost estimates.
- Experience as the primary interface with customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Experience reviewing other engineers’ work to maintain a high level of quality.
- Creating presentations and reports to document results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be a self-starter and understand the need for accuracy, timeliness and quality in assigned work tasks.
- Knowledge of modeling in Catia.
- Knowledge of GD&T is a plus.
- Testing and Test Writing Procedures experience is highly desired.
- Presenting results to customers during project reviews.
- Experience brainstorming design concepts a plus.
Education
- Requires a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
