Production Supervisor

Our client is looking for a skilled and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee a team in a dynamic manufacturing setting. This position suits a dedicated professional who excels in prioritizing safety, boosting productivity, and nurturing team growth within the plastics manufacturing sector.

• Anticipate $75K-$90K , based on experience
• 2nd shift and 3rd shift openings

Primary Duties:

• Oversee routine shift tasks for equipment handlers and support personnel, encompassing onboarding, task delegation, evaluations, and issue resolution.
• Foster an incident-free workplace by upholding guidelines, examining events, and spearheading safety enhancements.
• Guide staff to meet operational objectives, emphasizing expense reductions, process optimizations, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Dedicate substantial time on the shop floor for problem-solving, skill-building, and operational assistance.
• Handle workforce planning, maintain operational logs, and evaluate metrics for efficiency gains.
• Guarantee adherence to organizational protocols, standards, and quality benchmarks.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent 4-6 years in production operations (combinations of both accepted)
• Excellent verbal and written interaction abilities.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001 standards is advantageous; knowledge of scientific molding techniques preferred.
• Proficiency in reviewing technical materials and employing practical judgment for decision-making.
• Capable of prolonged standing/walking, handling up to 10 lbs, and operating in a noisy area with machinery.
