We are seeking a highly skilled GOP & Backlog Management Specialist with strong experience in Order Management (OM) to support end-to-end order fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Global Order Promising (GOP), backlog analysis, order orchestration, and cross-functional coordination to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient order execution.
This role is fully remote and requires a proactive professional who can manage priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Global Order Promising (GOP) processes to ensure accurate order commitments.
- Monitor, analyze, and report order backlog, identifying risks, delays, and fulfillment bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, OM, and Planning teams to resolve order execution issues.
- Execute and manage Order Management operations, including order creation, modifications, holds, cancellations, and fulfillment updates.
- Perform daily backlog reviews and drive actions to close aging orders.
- Ensure data accuracy and order completeness throughout the fulfillment lifecycle.
- Work closely with Planning teams to validate ATP/CTP results and ensure correct supply allocation.
- Support root-cause analysis for order delays and propose corrective actions.
- Prepare KPIs and dashboards for backlog health, GOP performance, and fulfillment metrics.
- Partner with IT/functional teams to troubleshoot OM/GOP system issues.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to provide order status, risks, and recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in Order Management, GOP, or Order Fulfillment roles.
- Strong knowledge of Order Management systems (Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, SAP OM, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with GOP / ATP / CTP processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
- Experience in backlog management, demand–supply alignment, and order prioritization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with reporting tools (OTBI/BI, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Order Management Cloud or Oracle EBS OM/GOP.
- Exposure to Supply Chain Planning concepts (Inventory, Fulfillment, Logistics).
- Prior experience in high-volume order environments (Manufacturing, Hi-Tech, Retail, etc.).
