As an AI & Systems Intern, you’ll help enhance and connect systems across Finance, Operations, and other core business functions while exploring how AI can streamline workflows and unlock insights. This role blends technology, data, and business processes, offering hands-on experience with real enterprise tools and challenges.

As an AI & Systems Intern, you’ll help enhance and connect systems across Finance, Operations, and other core business functions while exploring how AI can streamline workflows and unlock insights. This role blends technology, data, and business processes, offering hands-on experience with real enterprise tools and challenges.
You’ll work alongside experienced practitioners in a high-growth, PE-backed software company—supporting system improvements, building automations, and experimenting with AI-driven solutions that make a tangible impact across the business.
What You'll Do
- Support and improve systems across analytics platforms, core business tools, and enterprise applications
- Help build and test AI-powered solutions (e.g., assistants, reporting tools, workflow automation)
- Work with data to support dashboards, reporting, and business insights
- Assist in connecting systems using APIs and automation tools
- Help streamline and document business processes across teams and functions
- Support implementation of new tools, integrations, or system enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
- At least a sophomore (2nd year) or higher
- Basic experience with Excel, SQL, or data analysis
- Familiarity with any programming or scripting language (Python, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus
- Curious about AI, automation, and how enterprise systems connect
- Strong communicator who can work with both technical and business teams
- Eager to learn, take ownership, and solve real operational problems
- Coursework or projects in data analytics, systems, or process improvement
- Experience with dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Exposure to automation tools (Power Automate, Zapier, etc.)
- Hands-on time with enterprise platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar
- Experience using or experimenting with AI tools
- Hands-on experience with enterprise systems and analytics tools used across a $250M ARR software portfolio
- Direct exposure to how AI is being applied to real business operations—not just theory
- Mentorship from practitioners across business systems, data, and technology leadership
