This travel Cath Lab Tech job in Salem, MA with Advantis Medical is a 13-week travel Cath Lab Tech contract at NSMC Salem Hospital. This role pays $2,705 per week and follows a Days shift with a 3x12 schedule.

In this travel Cath Lab Tech job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, rotating roles as assigned
• Operate fluoroscopy imaging equipment and contrast injectors, applying ALARA radiation-safety standards
• Record and monitor hemodynamic data throughout procedures, alerting the team to changes
• Support emergent and STEMI cases when assigned to call, maintaining sterile technique

Travel Cath Lab Tech Requirements:

• 2 years of recent Cath Lab Tech experience
• Must hold all required Cath Lab Tech certifications and licenses as mandated by Massachusetts and national regulatory bodies

NSMC Salem Hospital — Salem, MA

Salem Hospital is a Mass General Brigham community hospital serving Massachusetts' North Shore. Its Salem campus brings emergency care, medical and surgical treatment, and inpatient behavioral health services into one hospital setting.

Imaging services include CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and fluoroscopy, along with interventional radiology and pediatric imaging at the hospital's Highland Avenue campus.

The cardiac catheterization lab performs coronary angiography, balloon angioplasty and stenting. Intravascular ultrasound and right and left heart catheterization add detail about coronary vessels and heart function.

The surgical program offers minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures, with a general surgery clinic on the hospital campus for surgical evaluation and care.

The Epstein Center for Behavioral Health provides inpatient psychiatric care for children, adolescents, adults and older adults, with separate units serving different age groups.

Inpatient cancer treatment is available through the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute's Salem Hospital location, placing oncology care within the hospital's broader medical setting.
