Pediatrics Travel Nurse

This Pediatrics travel nurse position in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Pediatrics Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Oklahoma Children''s Hospital OU Health-835 Stanton. This role pays $2,326 per week and follows a Days shift with a 3x12 schedule.

In this Pediatrics travel nursing role, you will provide patient care in a hospital setting, assess and monitor patient conditions, support urgent interventions, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians and the clinical care team during fast-moving patient situations.

Travel Nursing Requirements:

• 2 years of recent Pediatrics nursing experience
• Active Oklahoma RN License

Oklahoma Children's OU Health combines an academic children's hospital with maternity and newborn services at its Oklahoma City campus.

• The hospital's pediatric emergency department operates around the clock and serves as a referral destination for children needing hospital care.
• Pediatric intensive care includes treatment after major surgery, ECMO and dialysis. A separate pediatric cardiac ICU cares for children with complex heart conditions.
• The Level IV NICU provides advanced respiratory support, including high-frequency ventilation and inhaled nitric oxide, along with ECMO for selected critically ill newborns.
• Pediatric surgery spans abdominal and intestinal conditions, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics and transplantation, with inpatient and outpatient procedures.
• A dedicated inpatient hematology-oncology unit treats children with leukemia, lymphoma and solid tumors, including patients receiving chemotherapy.
• Women's services include prenatal and delivery care for routine and complicated pregnancies, an obstetric emergency department and a mother-baby unit in the same hospital as neonatal care.
