Neuro/Trauma ICU Travel Nurse

This Neuro/Trauma ICU travel nurse position in Kansas City, Missouri, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Neuro/Trauma ICU Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Research Medical Center. This role pays $1,978 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule.

In this Neuro/Trauma ICU travel nursing role, you will provide patient care in a hospital setting, assess and monitor patient conditions, support urgent interventions, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians and the clinical care team during fast-moving patient situations.

Travel Nursing Requirements:

• 2 years of recent Neuro/Trauma ICU nursing experience
• Active Missouri RN License

Research Medical Center — Kansas City, MO

Research Medical Center is a tertiary community teaching hospital with trauma, transplant and cancer services at its main campus.

• Emergency care includes an American College of Surgeons-verified Level I trauma center and a Joint Commission-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center.
• Inpatient care spans internal medicine, medical and surgical ICUs, and a neuroscience ICU. Cardiac recovery includes intensive care and telemetry settings.
• Surgical services include general, orthopedic, spine and gynecologic operations, including complex abdominal wall hernia repair and minimally invasive procedures.
• Cardiac surgery includes coronary bypass, aortic procedures and valve repair or replacement, alongside transcatheter aortic valve replacement for selected patients.
• Kidney and simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplantation are supported by a dedicated transplant unit. The program also performs living-donor kidney transplants.
• A dedicated inpatient oncology unit and the on-site Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute support cancer care, including gastrointestinal and brain tumors and surgical oncology.
