This Labor and Delivery travel nurse position in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Ascension St. Alexius Alverno. This role pays $2,360 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule.
As the Labor and Delivery registered nurse on this assignment, you'll assess maternal and fetal well-being, interpret fetal heart-rate patterns, guide patients through every stage of labor, birth, and recovery, and respond to obstetric emergencies as they arise.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret maternal and fetal status, including electronic fetal monitoring, escalating concerns promptly
- Support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including oxytocin titration as ordered and per facility protocol
- Provide immediate newborn care and support neonatal resuscitation per NRP guidelines
Travel Nursing Requirements:
- 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Active Illinois RN License
