Job Description:
Advantest, a leading Semiconductor Test and Measurement Company, is seeking self-driven and creative R&D Engineers who are interested in the field of Semiconductor Testing. The internship involves working with the R&D Applications team developing test solutions for the 93000 SMU8 platform. The Advantest 93000 platform is industry leading in RF, Highspeed Digital, Analog, and Parametric testing of semiconductor devices. This internship will be located in San Jose, CA, with the 93K DC Parametric Test group specializing in the monitoring of wafer fabrication processes at the major semiconductor factories throughout the world.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop 93000 applications utilizing Eclipse C development environment.
- Learn to operate test instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, capacitance meters and digital multimeters.
- Analyze and publish measurement data for other team members – including delivering technical presentations
- Help develop training material
Skills Required:
- Expertise in software development with an emphasis on quality
- Strong understanding of:
- C , Java and Python
- Git
- Data Structures
- Fundamental Electrical or Computer Engineering knowledge
- Analytical approach to Problem Solving
Qualifications:

- Progress towards a MS or BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
