Job Description
R&D Circuits, a member company of Advantest America, Inc., is wholly owned by Advantest Corporation (a Tokyo Stock Exchange listed company). For over 50 years, R&D Circuits has been a leader in the printed circuit board industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review setup, blueprints, and work order instructions to determine plating requirements and equipment settings.
- Load and unload production panels from plating lines.
- Set up, operate, and monitor plating equipment, including automated copper plating lines and other electroplating machinery.
- Monitor and adjust process parameters to maintain product quality.
- Perform quality checks to ensure product conformance to specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance on plating equipment and replace filter materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols for chemical handling.
- Work collaboratively with technicians, engineers, and other team members to ensure efficient production flow.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, parameters, and quality inspection results.
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably experience with PCB plating processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for operating machinery controls.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Reliable transportation
Past experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred: At least one year experience doing the same or similar type work
Basic computer skills
Ability to read and understand written operating procedures, Detail oriented (give close attention to matters)
Work under pressure to meet quick turn delivery schedules.
Physical
This position requires the ability to stand and walk for more than 90% of the workday. Must also be able to converse with others, reach with hands and arms.
