We are seeking an Applications Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for a role based in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate will support a major semiconductor customer working on cutting-edge AI technologies. This position involves developing and debugging V93000 test programs and collaborating closely with customer engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- V93000 Solutions: Provide advanced V93000 high performance digital solutions to support customer needs.
- Test Program Development: Develop and debug V93000 test programs, ensuring high-quality performance.
- Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customer engineers to apply best practices and achieve task closure strategies.
- Multitasking: Adapt to changing customer needs and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Self-Starter: Operate independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Travel: Approximately 10% travel to various customer and Advantest sites
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Advantest V93000 (digital) platform.
- 3–5 years of experience in electrical testing of SoC Integrated Circuits.
- Proficiency in digital ATE testing techniques.
- Familiarity with Linux (UNIX) operating systems.
- Programming skills in C , Java, or other object-oriented languages.
- Experience with Perl or Python scripting.
- Strong communication skills; comfortable presenting to customer management.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and proactive.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Additional Skills Preferred (but not required):
- ATE DUT Interface HW: Familiarity with the design/layout of ATE DUT interface hardware, schematic capture and PCB layout
