Summary:

Well-established speech therapy private practice is seeking a dynamic Licensed SLPA to join our clinic-based team of therapists for a Part-Time, Saturday-Only, Position. Our team members love working with us because of our care for their career & educational goals. We have many team members who go on to Graduate School to pursue a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Qualified SLPA candidates will have a Saturday schedule of patients.

This position is for Saturday only, with flexible hours: The Saturday start time can range from 9:00am-10:00am. The Saturday finish time can range from 3:00pm-4:00pm. Saturday hours are flexible with advanced notice to our scheduling team.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Under direction of an experienced SLP or the Clinical Director, provide individual pediatric speech therapy in a clinical setting, or telehealth setting
• Implement approved treatments for speech, language, fluency, articulation, expressive and receptive language delays, and hearing
• Document clientʼs progress and report progress to the supervising SLP
• Provide parent education regarding speech improvement strategies
• Utilize effective and professional communication skills
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• California State License as an SLPA, SLP-A, or in the licensing process
• Or: Bachelors (BA/BS) in Communicative Disorders pursuing licensure as an SLPA or SLP-A, sometimes called an SLPA Intern
• Current TB test
• Current CPR certification
• Pediatric experience is a plus
• Commitment to excellence in all that you do

• Fully Licensed SLPA compensation ranges from $29.00 - $35.00 per hour as a therapy staff team member, depending on experience, for this Saturday-only position.
• If you are pursuing or holding a Master's Degree in Communicative Disorders, your pay scale may be different than what is shown here. Depending upon your degree progression, licensure, and/or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status, your pay will be adjusted higher.

For this position, there is No Driving to meet patients, and No Home Health patients that you will have to visit. All speech therapy is provided in our Clinical Setting, with TeleHealth therapy being provided to the patient via Google Meet, from our clinic.

This position is only at our Chino, CA clinic location.
