Job Title: Quality Control Technician I/II
Location(s): Milpitas, CA
Compensation: $22.00 - $29.00 Hourly – Nonexempt
About this position
Advantech is on the search for a Quality Control Technician Level I or II, who will be responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet the quality standards of Advantech. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing inspections, tests and analysis to identify any deviations or defects that may affect overall product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Components/Product cosmetics and/or functional inspection
- Maintain inspection guideline and inspection records for assigned QC functions. Assigned QC functions may include, IQC, IPQC, FQC, OQC and ECOM.
- Database maintenance and record retention for traceability purpose
- Advantech / Local Fabricated Hardware Modification & Rework
- Inspection refers to product development’s given spec/drawing/schematic for Advantech and/or fabricated products
- Inform QC Specialist and/or QC Supervisor if products’ spec. discrepancy occurs.
- Any other projects and tasks assigned to you
Qualifications:
- 2 years of College, AA certification or 2 years of electronic/computer related work experience
- Proficient in MS OS installation and troubleshooting experience
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Detail oriented
- Familiarity or working familiarity with Computer Hardware inspection and QC guidelines
