Job Title: Associate Project Manager

Pay Range: $60,000 – $70,000
About this position:
The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for the product/project planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product specification, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and technical support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Responsibilities:
- Develop effective marketing, product strategy, and expert domain knowledge of target markets in terms of product offering, technologies and market positioning.
- Working with customers and cross-functional colleagues in all relevant departments across the organization to successfully manage Advantech’s standard and custom products.
- Manage the customer’s needs through understanding their business objectives and technology requirements and providing Advantech’s solution offerings, product roadmaps, and resource capabilities.
- Develop customer-specific solutions with pre-sales and post-sales technical support, feasibility verification, product proposal, and project management throughout the entire development process.
- Manage the product life cycle from NPI (New Product Introduction) to EOL (End of Life), component Phase-Out, Engineering change notifications, pricing, revenue and profit.
- Create and provide product/market training materials for sales and customers.
- Participate in trade shows and customer visits. Periodical travel is required.
Qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years minimum experience require
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering related-field is preferred
- Experience in one or more of the following jobs are a plus: product management, project management, technical support in the computer industry
- Experience in one or more of the following fields are a plus: Digital Signage, Medical Computer Products, Surveillance, Tablet and Handheld devices, Fleet Management Hardware, Display Technologies or Servers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
- Excellent teamwork skills and capable of working independently in a multinational organization
