What Will You Do as a PRN Physical Therapist?

As a Physical Therapist, you'll evaluate and treat individuals with a variety of mobility and functional needs while developing individualized treatment plans designed to help each person achieve the greatest level of independence possible.

Your role may include:

Performing comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations
Developing individualized plans of care and functional goals
Addressing strength, balance, endurance and mobility
Providing gait and transfer training
Improving safety and reducing fall risk
Providing therapeutic exercise and functional activities
Recommending and training patients in appropriate assistive devices
Educating patients, families and caregivers
Collaborating with PTAs and the interdisciplinary care team
Monitoring progress and modifying treatment plans as clinically appropriate
Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current or eligible Ohio Physical Therapist license
Strong clinical and communication skills

Dependable availability for agreed-upon PRN coverage
Skilled nursing or geriatric experience is a plus, but not required
