Position Overview
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you’ll work closely with Occupational Therapists and interdisciplinary team members to help patients regain independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance their quality of life in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Assist patients with improving ADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, and safety.
- Carry out individualized treatment plans based on patient goals.
- Educate patients and caregivers to support carryover and long-term success.
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and facility staff for holistic care.
- Track patient progress and report outcomes to supervising OT.
- Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Is passionate about patient-centered care.
- Enjoys hands-on treatment and functional rehabilitation.
- Values autonomy while being part of a supportive therapy team.
- Wants stability with growth potential in a respected rehab organization.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program.
- Active or license-eligible COTA license in Pennsylvania.
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus, but new graduates are welcome.
