Maintenance Operations Coordinator

WEEKDAYS 0800 - 1700 CST - $20.25 per hour

Advantage Trucking is looking for an organized and dependable Maintenance Operations Coordinator to support our maintenance department. This is primarily an office-based position responsible for keeping maintenance communication, paperwork, systems, and follow-up organized.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main front-office contact for maintenance, answering, documenting, and routing repair calls and requests
- Coordinate communication between drivers, mechanics, dispatch, management, vendors, and repair shops
- Enter invoices, work orders, repair information, and paperwork into company systems
- Follow up with outside shops and vendors on repairs, ETAs, and outstanding issues
- Track mechanic hours and reconcile maintenance accounts for accounting
- Manage roadside breakdown calls and coordinate service when needed
- Submit and follow up on warranty claims
- Manage Samsara device cases and related troubleshooting
- Monitor open maintenance items and make sure issues are followed through
- Manage parts and shop inventory, including receiving and organizing parts
- Perform occasional parts runs and assist with shop/warehouse organization and other miscellaneous tasks
Qualifications
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Comfortable with phones, email, spreadsheets, and computer systems
- Able to prioritize multiple requests and determine what needs immediate attention
- Previous experience in trucking, fleet maintenance, dispatch, or a repair environment is a plus
- Comfortable performing occasional physical/shop tasks
Ability to operate or move company vehicles is preferred but not required. CDL is a plus, but not required.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through, and keeps things organized. You do not need to be a mechanic. The most important part of this position is keeping the maintenance office and communication organized so our mechanics and maintenance management can focus on getting trucks repaired and back on the road.
Pay: $20.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
