THE ROLE
We are looking for a results-driven Carrier Sourcing Specialist to join our operations team in City of Industry. In this role, you will be the primary bridge between our company and our carrier network — sourcing capacity, negotiating rates, and building the long-term vendor relationships that keep our operations moving.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership and visibility. You will work closely with internal operations and pricing teams to ensure competitive, complete cost coverage across all service types.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source, qualify, and onboard new carriers across multiple service categories including drayage, transload, OOG / heavy haul, and last-mile delivery
- Negotiate competitive rates and maintain up-to-date pricing across all lanes and service types
- Serve as the primary point of contact for carrier partners — build lasting relationships through consistent communication and reliable follow-through
- Respond to internal pricing requests with accurate, complete cost breakdowns within agreed turnaround windows
- Proactively identify coverage opportunities and develop new carrier partnerships to strengthen our national network
- Conduct vendor visits and travel domestically as needed to evaluate carrier capabilities and deepen relationships
- Maintain organized carrier records and rate documentation in company systems
- Coordinate with Finance to support timely carrier payments and vendor satisfaction
REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of experience in US domestic freight — carrier sales, drayage operations, 3PL brokerage, or similar
- Fluent English, written and spoken — daily communication with US-based carriers and internal teams
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate rates and manage vendor relationships independently
- Working knowledge of domestic freight services: drayage, chassis, transload, OOG / specialized, last-mile
- Willingness to travel domestically for carrier development and vendor visits
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Spanish proficiency — a meaningful advantage given the carrier landscape
- Mandarin / Chinese proficiency — valued for internal team collaboration
- Experience with oversized, heavy haul, or project cargo
- Existing carrier relationships across multiple US regions

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
