Test Automation Engineer
Position Type: Contract
Position Location: Round Rock, TX
Position Salary: $35/HR - $55/HR (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: work in office 4 days / week with Friday from home
Responsibilities:
- Software automation engineer to help build the tools and frameworks to deliver high quality, innovative validation software to our customers.
- Research, analyze and advocate for technologies and architectures to meet the wide range of solutions required from the team.
- Our teams work together in an Agile environment to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.
- Collaborate and foster a creative atmosphere, review and provide detailed feedback on peers’ test plans and test designs and participate in agile activities like sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Take part in Hackathons, Tech-talks, and Communities of Practice with like-minded people.
- Innovate development technologies to maintain our market leadership using the latest tools and frameworks.
- Automate write automated integration tests and system level tests to continue building our automation pipeline and a release-ready product.
- Help the scrum team continuously improve its environment and processes.
- Write software tests in accordance with requirements and specifications and use best practices to build in high-quality.
- Help debug and validate software issues on the latest and greatest unreleased products as well as those encountered by customers.
- Developer with emphasis on testing automation and experience with AI
Requirements:
- Bachelors’ degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree
- 4 years of relevant experience OR a masters’ degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree and 2 years of relevant experience
- Tech Savvy- You stay on top of new technologies and look for ways to apply it
- Experience testing embedded software products
- Top Skill Sets: C# .NET coding skills, Experience on Visual Studio, and Azure Pipelines
- Experience designing and developing test cases from a user perspective
