Advantage Technical is hiring a Senior Technical Project Manager - Interiors to manage multiple interior projects from concept to production. You'll lead cross-functional teams and oversee schedules, coordination, and issue resolution-ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
Pay: $75-$80/hr
Responsibilities:
- Manage project timelines using Gantt charts and track milestone progress
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, and testing to meet validation goals
- Use Jira and Confluence to manage tasks and share project updates
- Oversee design releases and engineering changes
- Support mechanical issue resolution and lead problem-solving efforts
- Communicate status and key metrics to leadership
- Assist with cost analysis and supplier collaboration
- Travel occasionally to support production builds
Qualifications:
- 5 years in technical project management (automotive preferred)
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Tableau, and Gantt chart planning
- Familiarity with CAD systems (CATIA/3DX preferred)
- Understanding of interior trim systems and manufacturing (e.g., injection molding, die casting)
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- PMP or CAPM certification preferred
- Automation/scripting experience (Excel, VBA, Python, etc.)
- Background in product development from concept to launch
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
