Production Technician - Medical Device Manufacturing
Location: Bedford, MA
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift (1:30 PM - 9:30 PM)
We are hiring a Production Technician for a temporary opportunity in a growing medical device manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates interested in manufacturing, assembly, quality inspection, or medical device production. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
The Production Technician will assemble small mechanical components, perform quality checks, and support production operations while following FDA and ISO manufacturing standards. This is a clean, fast-paced environment with strong potential for full-time conversion.
Responsibilities
- Assemble small precision components using hand tools and detailed work instructions
- Perform in-process quality inspections and verify product specifications
- Complete production documentation and basic computer data entry
- Follow FDA, ISO, and company manufacturing procedures
- Identify and report quality, equipment, or material issues
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Support team training and production goals as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and follow written instructions in English
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills required
- Experience in assembly, manufacturing, cleanroom, or medical device environments is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
- Strong hand dexterity and close visual attention for detailed assembly work
