What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Design Engineer position at Advantage Technical?
- Design electrical and electronic systems, including power distribution, instrumentation, controls, communications, PLCs, and variable frequency drives
- Create and maintain production-level engineering documentation.
- Support integration, testing, and first article builds.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams.
- Provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
- Travel occasionally to North Carolina facilities as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of electrical design engineering experience
- Experience with electrical and electronic assemblies in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of power distribution and monitoring systems
- Experience with schematic capture software preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Aviation or aerospace industry experience preferred
