We are seeking a Network Engineer to support an on-site customer project in Las Vegas, NV.
This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong networking foundation who can troubleshoot issues, learn new technologies quickly, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The right candidate does not need to have experience with every system they will encounter.
We are looking for someone who has strong networking fundamentals, is technically capable, and can quickly learn and apply new technologies with limited training.
Responsibilities
- Configure and troubleshoot network switches, routers, wireless controllers, and access points
- Support Cisco, Aruba, and Juniper network environments
- Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, trunking, spanning tree, routing, and subnetting
- Configure wireless controllers and access points
- Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues
- Learn and work with new systems and platforms as needed
- Work independently to resolve technical issues and keep project work moving
Requirements
- Cisco CCNA certification or higher required
- Strong understanding of routing and switching fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with Aruba wired and wireless infrastructure
- Experience configuring wireless controllers and access points
- Working knowledge of Juniper systems
- Strong network troubleshooting skills
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- CCNP certification
- Palo Alto firewall experience
- Wireless design or RF experience
- Experience supporting network deployments or project-based work
Salary : $40 - $50
