Part-Time Retail Merchandiser (Military)

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are displayed effectively and attractively in retail environments. You will play a crucial part in enhancing the shopping experience for customers while driving sales through strategic merchandising practices.

Duties

• Execute product placement and visual merchandising strategies to maximize sales potential.
• Maintain organized and appealing displays that align with brand standards.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with shoppers and addressing inquiries.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems.
• Collaborate with store management on promotional activities and store remodeling projects.
• Utilize strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within set deadlines.
• Document merchandising activities, including sales reports and inventory levels, for administrative purposes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or merchandising is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with cash registers or POS systems.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficient customer service skills to enhance the shopping experience.
• Basic administrative skills for reporting and documentation purposes.
• Time management skills to ensure timely completion of merchandising tasks.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
