Summary

PBA Finance and Systems Manager

 

The Finance and Systems Manager oversees the operational infrastructure that supports successful field execution, including tools, systems, logistics, data flow, and reporting compliance, in addition to managing the financials across the entire client ecosystem. 

 

The Company is one of North America’s leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management and marketing services to manufacturers, suppliers and producers of food products and consumer packaged goods. The Company services a variety of trade channels including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics and home centers. We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Program Execution: Own the backend logistics of national field programs (e.g., scheduling tools, payroll processes, inventory logistics).
  • Financial Management: Ensure accurate financial results by reviewing the financial data provided by accounting and developing a formal client report each month based on SOW. Perform detailed review of divisional expenses to ensure appropriate coding. Perform monthly balance reconciliations across client reporting and NN systems
  • Process Support: Work cross-functionally with TA, Finance, and Program teams to streamline execution workflows.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor data accuracy and timeliness from the field; provide insights and flag anomalies.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Direct Reports- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports

Indirect Reports- This position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Education Level:(Required):  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience         

(Preferred):  Master's Degree or equivalent experience 

Field of Study/Area of Experience:8 Years of experience in finance 

3-5 years of experience in accounting or similar role and maximum knowledge of the event industry

 

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact at varying management levels and client interface• Strong organizational, negotiation and problem-solving skills• Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills• Ability to present effectively to large groups• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web-browsers• Ability to complete multiple duties and projects with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines• Must interact well with team

• Strong prioritization skills• Ability to visualize and plan objectives and goals strategically

Environmental & Physical Requirements:

Office / Sedentary Requirements:

Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66% each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
