Roofing Sales Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue by generating leads through cold calling, door-to-door canvassing, networking, and referrals
- Conduct inspections and accurately assess roofing needs
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing in targeted neighborhoods
- Present roofing systems and services in a clear, confident, and professional manner
- Build trust by educating customers on materials, warranties, and the installation process
- Close deals and exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals
- Track all activity in CRM
- Follow up with prospects to convert unsold into signed agreements
- Provide top-tier customer service and stay in touch throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Attend team meetings and strategy sessions
- Represent the company with professionalism in the community
- Represent the brand at trade shows, community events, and company marketing campaigns
Roofing Sales Representative Requirements:
- Prior experience in roofing, construction, home improvement, or B2C sales
- Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and installation basics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Previous sales experience preferred (door-to-door, retail, or outside sales)
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, capable of managing your own pipeline
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Willing to work evenings and some weekends based on customer needs
