Material Handler (2nd Shift)

Purpose: To maintain machine material (resins and additives) levels to prevent machine downtime.

Job Functions:

• Clean material equipment when needed to changeover a production job.
• Allocate, move, track and disposition raw materials throughout the production floor.
• Mix and blend materials within established parameters.
• Monitor and correct material levels on the production floor as needed.
• Perform material changeovers - color changes at molding machines.
• Maintain warehouse and production floor cleanliness.
• Assist foreman or assistant foreman on an as needed basis.
• Assist in training of other personnel as needed.
• Perform any housekeeping duties when needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Have good manual dexterity.
• Have good eyesight (with corrective lenses is acceptable).
• Must be able to follow instructions, written and verbal.
• Possess basic knowledge of hand tools and their uses.
• Capable of maintaining company attendance requirements
• Possess a minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
• Capable of training others as needed.
• Must possess a strong commitment to the Company and to the production of quality product.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Physical demands of job include but are not limited to the following:

• Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move 55lbs
• Must be able to sometimes move or lift over 100lbs manually or using equipment.

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus pay

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $24.00 per hour
