What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saw Operator position at Advantage Metalwork & Finishing?
Essential Functions and Qualifications:
- Cut various metals to meet customer specs utilizing a manual fed saw
- Ability to read blueprints
- Must be able to read and interpret measurements (eg: tape measure)
- Mechanical aptitude a plus
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
- High School Diploma/GED Preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in a sheet metal environment
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, including extended days and/or weekends
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Full Time / Hourly / Non-Exempt

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
